Membersof State Houses of Assembly, controlled by the All Progressives Congress (APC), have issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to re-arrest the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr Nnamdi Kanu or face a nationwide protest. The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said the declaration by the Nigerian military that the Indigenous People of Biafra is a terrorist organisation is unconstitutional. The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ekiti State has accused the state governor, Ayodele Fayose, of funding the ( IPOB ) group and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
