One of Wizkid’s die-hard fan, identified on Instagram as Omobolanle, with the handle, @pretty_omobolanle has taken to the gram to shed tears for her idol, and wished him speedy recovery. Recall Wizkid, in some series of tweets, said he’d be taking time off from work, as he is beyond ill, and he needs to take care of his health. He wrote in one of his tweets: “If I die today, I die a legend” The singer also announced that he will be moving the dates of his US Tour because of some health concerns he’s facing. Wizkid had Chicago, Hollywood, Sugar Land, Toronto and New York scheduled as his stops on his tour. The singer revealed that he will be taking some time off to recover, until his next show which will be in London on September 29, 2017. Wizzy’s been hanging out with a lot of American hip hop artists of late, he was spotted with Young Jeezy in a studio and at another time, just chilling somewhere on the continental United States. It seems the emcee vibes may be rubbing off on Weezy as his new single Trap King is actually a bit of a certified banger. There are not too many released records of Wizkid rapping, although this reporter and a few other people in his inner circle may have heard a Wizkid rap track or two. His growth as a musician shines through as he channels his inner rapper, it kind of flows naturally, but one wonders if Wizkid has a ghost writer on this record or if he actually spit these playful melodious bars on his own.
