Lagos Island, The waterlogged Island
Lagos state is the business hub of Nigeria and one of the major cities in Africa with a population of over 20 million people. Behind the glitz and glamour of this acclaimed most developed state in Nigeria is a waterlogged island called "Lagos Island". You see, Lagos island is perceived as the city for the elites where you can find people of high social status and influence - we call them "The Big Boys".
Today the 6th Of July i can confidently tell you that those big boys aren't happy! Why? You may ask. Well the answer is not far fetched! Like they say "A picture is worth a thousand words"
Below is the current situation of this acclaimed city for the rich. The situation is nothing to write home about due to the recent incessant downpour. This have not only brought out the wrought in our system but has also exposed these perceived rich ones to an everyday suffering caused by bad roads and lack of drainage systems. A typical example of "the rich also cry".
More pictures coming soon.... Don't forget to share😉
