- Upon arrival in the Grecian capital city, Jonathan met with the country’s former prime minister, George Andreas Papandreou
- The former Nigerian president will take part in the forum’s opening panel on Friday, October 6
Immediate past President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has arrived in Athens, Greece, ahead of the 2017 Rhodes Forum scheduled to begin on Friday, October 6.
Jonathan will be taking part in the forum’s opening panel: ‘Multipolarity and Dialogue in Regional and Global Developments: Imagining Possible Futures.’
The former president made the development public in a post on his Facebook page.
Jonathan further disclosed that he met with the former prime minister of Greece, George Andreas Papandreou, on Thursday, October 5.
Meanwhile, naij.com previously reported that Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was selected to give the keynote speech at the United States Nigerian Lawyers Association (NLA) Merit Awards Dinner.
The president of the association, Mr Nexus Sea, stated that Jonathan was joining a long list of Nigerian dignitaries who had attended the event in the past.
